Dos Amigos
These two donkeys have worked hard and are taking a break! Donkeys are very social and form strong bonds. You will often see pairs of best friends in a herd. Our donkey, Pepe, has bonded with my husband and brays with joy every time he sees him! A donkey’s bray can carry up to 60 miles in a dessert. I am sure our neighbors can attest to this!

I came to know these flightless birds while living in Australia. They can run about 30 mph and have a kick that will give the Karate Kid a run for his money! It is best to view these quirky giants from a distance.
